Before settling at 60 Chandler Road in Andover, NEBC met at a local apartment clubhouse, a nearby function hall, and a restored mill building. In 1993, after a three year battle in Land Court, NEBC was granted permission to build a church on Chandler Road in Andover, MA. The 11-acre parcel was purchased for $150,000 thanks to many generous gifts from church members and supporters.
Nearly $500,000 was spent on clearing the land, building a road, and completing the site work, again, all paid for by many sacrificial and generous offerings. TheĀ church raised the $540,000 building cost through church bonds. The building and land have been completely paid off and NEBC is blessed to be debt-free.
