Philadelphia, PA | For Students in Grades 7-12

1) What are the dates of the trip? June 26- July 3. We will leave on the Sunday morning of the 26th, do work crews Monday-Friday, have a fun day on Saturday, and then return home after attending church there in the city.

2) What organization are we doing this missions trip with? The Philadelphia Project is a Christian non-profit that hosts youth groups from across the country every summer. We will be working alongside three other youth groups from across the United States as well. You can learn more about the Philadelphia Project by following this link.

3) What will we be doing? The Philadelphia Project assigns youth groups to various teams depending on needs for that week. Our team will either work in a kids camp ministry, help with home repair, or assist one of the Philadelphia Project’s many “mercy partners” (nonprofits working within the city). We will likely not find out which ministry team we will be helping with before we arrive, but we do know that we as a youth group will all be assigned to the same group together.

4) How much will the trip cost? Approximately $500 per student.

5) Where will we be staying? The Philadelphia Project has a former college dormitory that they use to house their groups. Students are required to bring bedding such as sleeping bags and pillows for the bunk beds. All meals are included in the trip costs.

6) The deadline for signups is March 15th! All students wishing to participate must complete the application and submit a check for $100 (made out to New England Bible Church) by March 15th to be considered for the trip.
